On 09-14-15, I took my 2006 Chrysler 300c SRT8 to the JIM Browne Chrysler in Tampa for the first time ever. I usually take my car to Jerry Ulm Dodge for service. Jerry Ulm was a bit backed up and I couldn't wait. My AC wasn't cooling and I wanted to know if any repairs would be needed and how much. So, I dropped of my car early in the morning and a couple of hours later they called me with an estimate. They said that the car would need a new evaporator among other parts which would require the removal of my dash. When I dropped of my car, there were no issues with the dash with, the exception of a broken air vent which was pointed out to them. When I received my car three days later, I noticed that the dash wasn't installed correctly ( it looked like someone had rolled back)and it would rattle as I drove over bumps on the road. As well as the AC not cooling evenly on both sides, making hissing noises (which they stated that it was normal) and the lights around the AC control *** not lighting up. I called my service writer to express my concerns and findings. He asked me to bring the car back at my earliest convenience. I brought the car back the following Monday being my only day off work. I showed the service writer my findings and he took the car in to trouble shoot it. I sat in the waiting room for about 3 to 4 hours, for him to come back and tell me that I was basically SOL *** OUT OF LUCK). He stated that because of the age of my vehicle and of the years the sun hitting the dash ( Keep in mind that there is no visible sun damage on my dash. And, I use a shade on the windshield). They couldn't reinstall the dash as it was when it first came in, INTACKED! He said I would need to purchase a new dash so it could be installed correctly which I disagreed on. I brought my concerns to the service manager and after some going back and forth. He said that he would try to submit a warranty claim with Chrysler. He asked me to be patient, that he would call me on Monday with an answer. Monday came, no call. I was patient and gave them time so, I called on Wednesday. They stated that they haven't heard back from the warranty claims DEPT, that they would call me on Thursday with an update. Thursday came, no call. So I called back the following Monday, no resolution as of yet. I called again and I was told that they were going to a meeting that very morning about my claim and that I would get an answer before EOD. No call! Today I was able to reach the service manager and he stated that they don't have a definite answer as of yet but that It wasn't looking good. The AC was finally looked at again and come to find out some fitting was leaking causing the AC to not cool evenly. The AC now is cooling but making funny noises which I was told was normal. The issue about the dash well, I'm SOL!!!!! They said that they couldn't do anything about it and I would need to buy a new dash so they could install it correctly. I wasn't asking for anything more than for them to correct their mistake. They damaged my dash they should either replace it or fix it!!!!!!!
